How hard is installation?+
Ion 8 connects to any standard faucet in about ten minutes — no plumber required. The included diverter and printed quick-start guide walk you through each step.
What sizes and finishes are available?+
Two models — Ion 8 (939) and Ion 8 Pro (959). The Ion 8 comes in Black with a 4.2-inch colour display; the Ion 8 Pro is Champagne Titanium with a 7-inch touchscreen, dual filtration, and built-in hot water, UV sterilization and a mineral port. Both are countertop units that fit any standard kitchen.
Which pH level should I drink day to day?+
Most people drink the Alkaline 1–2 settings (around pH 8.5–9.5) for everyday hydration and build up gradually. Use Purified (pH 7) for medication and infant formula, and keep the acidic settings for skincare and cleaning rather than drinking.
Is ionized water safe for everyone?+
Ionized water is fine for daily drinking for most healthy adults and children. Always use the Purified (neutral) setting to take medication, and if you're pregnant, have kidney disease or a medical condition, check with your doctor before drinking alkaline water regularly.
How often do I replace the filter?+
Roughly every 8–12 months depending on your local water quality. A red filter indicator on the display lets you know when it's time, and there's no separate pre-filter to maintain.
Will it work with my water supply?+
Yes. Ion 8 connects to any standard mains faucet and works across a TDS range of 50–1000 ppm. Very hard water or untreated well water benefits from the optional 3-stage pre-filter.
Does it run on my country's power?+
Yes — every unit ships with a universal SMPS power supply rated 110–240V, so it works worldwide with the appropriate plug.
How do I clean it?+
Almost nothing to do — Ion 8 runs an automatic self-cleaning cycle that reverses plate polarity to prevent scale buildup. Just wipe the exterior.
